Laminate Anti-microbial Information
Pentadecor® 3D laminate film with Antimicrobial Lacquer Pentadecor® 3D laminate film with Antimicrobial lacquer (AM) was developed for high touch surfaces in settings where infection control is a concern.
Pentadecor® 3DL film with AM incorporates a Silver Ion additive into the top coating which gives the film its antimicrobial properties.
As with all 3D laminates from Klöckner Pentaplast and SSI, Pentadecor® 3DL film with AM is made from the highest quality materials.
Pentadecor® 3DL film with AM is 100% rigid film and is free of plasticizers, phthalates, and lead.
Like all Pentadecor® 3D laminate films, Pentadecor® 3DL film with AM will form seamlessly to: raised panel doors, contoured edges, serpentine shapes, and through-bored designs with striking beauty and infection control.

Metal Anti-microbial Information
Antimicrobial coatings are used to provide supplemental protection against the growth of microorganisms in a wide range of applications. Bacteria, fungi or algae, when present, can produce unwanted odors, cause discoloration, create bifouling or produce mildew. In certain cases this can also lead to degradation or corrosion of the base material.
This new antimicrobial powder coating, provides protection against a broad spectrum of microorganisms. These coatings were developed in a proprietary manufacturing process using the additive AlphaSan®, a silver containing zirconium phosphate-based ceramic ion exchange particles. Silver is known to be a safe material for human contact that is very effective against a broad spectrum of micro-organisms.
AlphaSan® is NSF and EPA FIFRA approved for drinking water contact and FDA approved.
